It’s been about a decade since I picked up brushes and attacked a canvas in ernest. Lockdown and finding the right space in which to work has meant I have had time to be productive. Leaving the easel, paints and brushes in place means I can disappear off and work quite spontaneously. Working in acrylics onto ready-made canvas I feel a bit of a cheat but I am proud of my own work ethic – often starting at 6am as that is when the sun is up –  and I am enjoying the results so far…
