A hand-drawn design – and some playful typography – for an al fresco event in Victoria Park in Hackney, east London . After many months of being separated, London-based musical theatre group Geoids took over the bandstand and performed to a socially “together” but physically-distanced crowd with songs from their 90 year history or that spoke to their spirit and enthusiasm for all things musical theatre. The event happened in collaboration with Victoria Park Friends and Tower Hamlets Council. Such a success, despite all the technical challenges of performing in a world still gripped by the Covid 19 pandemic, the group are looking to make it a regular annual event.
